Our story · 01

Built in the driveway.

SimmVan started in a driveway with a lifted E-Series, a box van, and a stubborn idea: a camper should make life simpler, not fancier.

Our story · 02

The first rig earned it.

The white E-Series came first. Lifted, all-terrain tires, a roof rack, and enough light bar to turn a 5 a.m. ski lot into daylight. It taught us what actually matters when you live out of a vehicle.

Proven on real trips.

Mt. Hood ski lots. Sunriver winters. Sunrise runs through the Gorge. A desert loop through Zion, Bryce, and the Grand Canyon. Every latch, wire, and cabinet earned its spot out there.

The Box Van

A Ford E-Series box truck turned four-season basecamp. Full kitchen with induction and a real sink, dinette with a swing table, wall-mounted TV, and a matte graphite respray that disappears at a trailhead. Started life bright yellow. You'd never know.

What goes into a build

The stuff you feel every single day.

We plan around how you cook, sleep, and haul gear before a single cabinet gets cut. The floor plan is the build.

Clean wiring, labeled runs, and a control panel you can actually read. Electrical is where cheap builds go to die.

Induction heat, a deep sink, task lighting, and counter space you can land a cutting board on. Dinner, not just coffee.

Insulated and sealed for snow-lot mornings and coast drizzle. Our rigs winter on Mt. Hood, so we design like it.
